November 15, 2012 Celebrate Mechanics Hall, a very successful fundraising reception, was held at Sonoma Restaurant. Click to read a summary.
Novermber 8, 2012 On October 4 we were notified that Mechanics Hall has been recognized as one of Massachusetts' Most Endangered Historic Resources by Preservation Massachusetts. We received a plaque at the "Believe in Preservation" event held in Worcester on November 8.
October 6, 2012 The Friends had a table at HEY DAY at Wachusett Meadow. Thanks to all who stopped by.
September 29, 2012 With the overwhelming support of the community, the Friends participated in the Town-wide Yard Sale.
August 18, 2012 A small team of Friends did a cleanup and sweep of the 2nd floor. Note the photos to the right.
August 5, 2012 Visit and tour of the Orchard House, Concord, MA — the restored former home of Lousa May Alcott.

July 29, 2012 Geoff Yaglou coordinated an electric inspection of Mechanics Hall. His report which includes upgrade recommendations is attached to the August 9 meeting summary.
July 18, 2012 With the help of Princeton Tree Services, we removed several trees that were encroaching on the building.

May 20, 2012 The Grounds Planning and Maintenance Subcommittee performed an inspection of the grounds of Mechanics Hall. Click here to view their report.
April 21, 2012 Several dozen Friends worked for several hours on April 21, 2012 on the grounds of Mechanics Hall. Event summary.
    Bushes were trimmed, saplings cut down, trash collected and the area raked. We discovered a walkway on the right side that had been covered with overgrowth. What a difference!
